As Alderwoman, there are a few issues to be challenged if, I and my team, would help Waterbury fight to change. They would be as follows: ● Crackdown on out of state plates. ● Keep lowering taxes. ● Have more community involvement for the youth to make our city safer. ● Speeding throughout the city. ● Blighted properties: Holding out of state homeowners responsible for dilapidated properties by issuing daily fines to unsafe dwellings for tax payers of Waterbury. ● Last but not least, archaic political mindset of yesterday corrupt administrations that was once run by politicians with criminal backgrounds. ● Creating an inviting city for visitors’ theater and the arts. The two things most important issues to tackle and accomplish are : ● Lowering taxes by getting more corporations to do business in our city. This will create more competitive job opportunities to our residents and State. ● We need to divert the youth of our city away from violence by getting them involved in community outreach programs.
