George Noujaim is a Waterbury-based business professional and civic leader, combining insurance and real estate expertise with longstanding public service. With education in business management and early career roles in sales, he has been involved in local governance for over a decade. His deep community ties are evident through his consistent volunteerism and support for local charitable programs.

Married to Sarah Noujaim. 5 kids (Alexis 21, Jacob 17, Chloe 13, Isabella 10, Julian 4)
Education & Early Career

Graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1998 and earned a B.S. in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University in 2003.

Began my professional journey as a master general agent with American Income Life (2003–2014), then transitioned to a sales executive position at Mutual of Omaha in 2015 to current.

Is currently a Real Estate Broker with Dave Jones realty.

Public Service & Political Engagement

Served on the Waterbury Board of Aldermen from November 2011 to 2013

Returned to public service in 2017, elected as Alderman for District 4, and currently still sits on that board. Proud to have been elected 5 total terms and seeking a sixth this election cycle.

Elected to Minority Leader of the Board of Aldermen in December 2020 to December 2023, and currently serves as the Aldermanic Liaison to the Board of Education since August 2020.

Community Involvement

Known for his strong community engagement: hosting back-to-school supply drives, turkey dinners, holiday giveaways, toy and food drives, blood drive sponsorships, and volunteering in numerous local organizations such as PAL, East End Community Club, and neighborhood groups.

Actively involved in charitable efforts across Waterbury, supporting families and local initiatives through hands-on engagement.
